The short version
This site does not track visitors, uses no cookies and loads no files from third party servers. We receive two things: what you type into the form and what you type into the assistant. The form is used to reply to you; what goes to the assistant is processed by a language model in order to answer you, and that is explained in detail below.
What we collect
From the form: name, email, company if you entered one, type of work and message. Nothing else. No hidden fields collect anything more, apart from a bot trap a person never sees. From the assistant: the text of your question, the page you asked from and the language. We do not ask for your name or your email to use it, and there is no need to type them there.
The site assistant
The bubble at the bottom right is an automated assistant and it can be wrong: what it says is no commercial commitment, and anything that matters is worth confirming with us. What you type there leaves this site: it travels to our server and from there to the language model provider that writes the answer, which does not use it for its own purposes. So do not type personal data or confidential information into the chat. The conversation is kept while it lasts, under a random number your browser generates so the assistant remembers what was already asked, and that number is not tied to you or to your email. Your IP address never reaches the assistant: it stays on our server, which uses it only to count requests and prevent abuse, and that count does not store what you typed.
How it reaches us
The form sends what you filled in to our mailbox, and a copy goes to your address. That email is delivered by the same company that serves this site, which uses it for nothing of its own. The site keeps no copy: there is no database. If sending is unavailable, the form drafts the message and opens it in your mail app, and you send it yourself.
What it is used for
To answer your enquiry and, if the work goes ahead, for the business relationship. It is not used for unsolicited marketing, not sold and not passed to third parties for their own use.
How long it is kept
The email stays in our mailbox while the conversation is still active. Ask us to delete it and we delete it, then confirm.
What your browser stores
One item, and it is not a cookie: the light or dark theme you chose, in browser local storage, so we do not flash a bright screen at you on every visit. If you use the assistant, two more things are kept in that tab storage: the random conversation number and the text of what was said, so the chat does not empty out as you move between pages. That clears itself when you close the tab, and also with the clear conversation button inside the chat. None of this travels with every request and you can clear it from your browser.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. By email to the address below, with no special form.
